Prehospital Arrythmias Management Simulation Course

About WorkShop

Course is designed to enhance the EMS staff knowledge and skills in approaching, diagnosing, and providing initial interventions for the patient with cardiac arrhythmias. During this educational activity, the qualified instructors in ER and simulation field will use the simulation case-based teaching method to generates hands-on training, and engaging learning experience to improve the participant's abilities in interpreting the ECG and identify the abnormalities in addition to provide prehospital medical management based on the diagnosis.

Workshop Objectives

  • Interpret normal 12 leads ECG.
  • Show competency in using manual defibrillator effectively and safely.
  • Recognize Bradyarrythmeas and Tachyarrhythmia’s that may cause complicated resuscitative outcomes or cardiac arrest.
  • Provide immediate prehospital medical interventions for the patient with Bradyarrythmeas and Tachyarrhythmia’s before it progressed to cardiac arrest or caused complicated outcomes.  Initiate the proper prehospital medical management for the patient with STMI and cardiac arrest.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with Emergency Departments and the team member during providing initial interventions and dispatching the patient.

Paramedic disaster response course
